Now that the holidays are in full swing and heading toward the New Year, it's time to look back on 2010 and wonder what's next for 2011....... There - I looked back and got a headache!!! What a year - chock-full of news, events, and more iconic images for the ages! I rejoined social society this year, after quite a long time in the shadows, in the background▓▓▓, so to speak...
I joined Facebook over a year ago ( I think...), but didn't use it much because we only had one computer and the kids were constantly hogging it. So when we got a 2nd PC and located it in the parental bedroom, it took awhile for me to realize that I could ACTUALLY GO ONLINE and USE THE INTERNET ON A REGULAR BASIS...
After a few months of surfing around for info & whatnot, I decided it was time to rejoin society and start talking to old friends on the Net, so in June I started to post somewhat regularly on Facebook. By mid-summer, I was in full swing, and since then, I rarely miss a day on the "Social Network"!!! So here are some highlights of my best postings, which include serious commentary, humorous thoughts, sayings & poems, and the occasional inspirational writing creations.......
But first, the afore-promised handy-dandy guide to pronouncing my name: Sven = (Ssss-venn) Christian = standard pronunciation(Kriss-chunn) and finally the odd Danish last name - Hasselriis ( Hah-sull-reese). There- what could be simpler!!!!???(NOT!!!)

MY RESPONSE TO THIS??? - So where can I find a website devoted to "How cool is it that butterflies can fly really fast ???" They're amazing fliers!!! So there!!!

Awesome Universe, eh??? How could anyone with a functioning brain not be continually amazed by God's Incredible Creation? By all rights, I should be the last person on Earth to believe in the existence of a vastly superior intelligence capable of setting the whole she~bang (he~bang?) into motion...but actually, from God's perspective, it was really quite simple: He/She/? got tired of the old universe and hit the reboot button on his holo-pad!!! Oh, yes, & I'm just so thrilled when I read over the years about Cheney's history with Halliburton - a company involved in a # of scandals and questionable dealings - like their role in the BP oil spill and their involvement with Iraq--- the name Blackwater comes to mind....The Internet is a formidable way to change this world- let's figure out how to do it!!!!
